PAINTERLY

These works use wood firing to push color and surface beyond its usual visual language. Heat and gravity set the glazes in motion, creating painterly surface that are uncommon in the process and shaped by my background as a painter.

The firing is used to extend my visual range, rather than confirm expected results.
